New to Japanese eBay? This is the page I’d send you.
Hi, I’m Megan. I find real designer bags on Japanese eBay for a lot less than they cost anywhere else, and I share them here and on Instagram. If you’re new, these are the questions I get asked most, in the order people ask them. Let’s get into it!
Is Japanese eBay even legit?
Yes. Japan’s secondhand luxury market is enormous and a lot of the big resale shops (Komehyo, for one) sell on eBay too — that’s where I find almost everything I post. The trick is knowing who to buy from, which brings me to…
Who do I buy from?
Only sellers I know. I keep a chart of the Japanese eBay sellers I trust, and every search on this site is filtered to them.
How do I find the exact bag I want?
I’ve built 100+ searches for the bags, watches and accessories people ask me about — Speedy 30, Jackie, Baguette, Cartier Tank — each one filtered to my trusted sellers. Find yours and bookmark it.
I just want a deal tonight.
Same. This page shows every auction from my sellers ending tonight, soonest first. It’s the list I comb through for my finds.
How do I know it’s real?
I can’t guarantee authenticity, and neither can anyone selling you a bag on the internet. Buying from vetted sellers is half of it; a third-party authenticator is the other half.
What will it actually cost me?
The listing price, plus shipping, plus US import duties. As of September 2026 the old $800 duty-free threshold is gone — every package gets charged now, whatever it’s worth. For items from Japan, budget roughly 10–12.5% of the value plus a small carrier processing fee (readers report around $20); how you’re billed depends on the carrier. The rules keep shifting, so treat that as a ballpark and check the current ones before you bid.

Different rabbit hole, same energy: Middle Eastern fragrances that smell like the designer ones for a fraction of the price.

Two things I’ll always tell you: I’m a curator, not a reseller — I find and share, I’m not selling you anything. And the links on this site are affiliate links that compensate me a small amount if you buy through them. All of it goes to the purse fund. Thank you!
